Program Description:
We are delighted to offer a new, virtual Performing Arts & Technical Theatre Program using the ZOOM platform!
We will:
- Teach performance workshops in Acting, Singing, & Dancing.
- Make videos of performance pieces in each art form.
- Create one full-group piece incorporating all three art forms.
- Celebrate our creative work with a Community Dance & Watch Party after our videos are completed.
- Offer Technical Theatre Classes on a variety of topics.
- Build a Technical Theatre “Virtual Stage Management Team” who will host and provide support for the Zoom Performing Arts Workshops.
- Train interested Technical Theatre Students in Video Production & Sound Recording as we produce recordings of our performance workshops.
- Offer special opportunities for individual and small-group coaching in Acting, Singing, Dancing, and Technical Theatre.
WHO
Young People entering 5th-12th grades as well as graduating seniors.
All ability levels are WELCOME!
